Installing the PDF Preset Through InDesign
Downloading the Preset
- Download the InDesign PDF Preset file to your Desktop
- Unzip the file and open InDesign
- Go to File > Adobe PDF Presets > Define
- In the PDF Presets window click “Load”
- Select the “SG High Res.joboptions” file on your Desktop
- Once it has loaded click “Done”
- You can delete the source files from your Desktop
Saving High Res PDFs with the InDesign preset
- Save your native InDesign Document
- Then go to File > Adobe PDF Presets select “SG High Res” from the flyout menu
- Type your desired file name, press Save in the bottom right corner
- Double check in the Export Adobe PDF box that “SG High Res” is selected as the preset
- Select Export in the bottom right corner
